I've moved!

So, being the little perfectionist I am I made yet another blog. I was going to wait until the new year but then I figured, why not now? So I'm still in the midst of perfecting it but it's up and running now!

My new blog is HERE

Feel free to unfollow this one because I won't be deleting it, just not posting on it anymore.

Love always,
Madi

a list of goals for november

Two things I adore so much my heart can't even bear it; lists and starting fresh. so, that's precisely what I am going to do. I know some of you enjoy them too, what are some of your goals?

waiting & wishing

As usual, I have been pondering my life and how I dread the day to day activities that continue to venture their way into my crazy yet ho-hum life. I have tried countless times to perfect everything; my school life, my eating habits, my fitness, my blog etc. And I'm coming to that realization that no, not everything can be perfect or how I want it to be. Instead of trying to fix them I always seem to end up not giving the effort which clearly doesn't help any more or any less. I seem to constantly find myself stranded in my own little world far off from reality and incapable to accept the fact that my life won't change until I do. I guess I just need to stop waiting and wishing, and begin starting and doing.

I realize the pomegranates are completely irrelevant but spontaneity is a good trait, right?

How do you overcome continuous cycles such as my life?

much love,
madi

Autumn, time for a fresh start.

My life has been changing like the colours of the leaves on trees. The breeze is getting crisper and Starbucks has brought back their fall collection of drinks. I've pulled out my large comfy sweaters and skinny jeans with my beanies. Summer has been gone and it's officially here, autumn that is.

I think that was a meteor...

So lately I've been a bit confused with my life. I've found however that blogging helps me find my peace and happiness. So you will be finding me on here more often. How is your autumn experience going lovely?

Much love,
Madi

In the city

These past few days have been phenomenal. Crossing the brooklyn bridge while munching on mangoes on a stick, sailing across to get a closer view of the Statue of Liberty (aka, Liberty Enlightening the World), taking pictures from the top of the Rockefeller center, eating from little carts and restaurants, shopping until we literally drop and gallavanting around Times Square. It's been great.

Much love from NYC,

life

Life is an amazing gift. You can do what you please with it because it is yours. The sole purpose of life is to live it and that's exactly what I've been doing these past few days. From taking a dip in the ocean and the sun peels its way across the morning sky to walking the bustling streets of my city.

Life,

It's good.

I leave for NYC tonight (this morning?) so be prepared for a post ambushed with sky lines and city scapes. Much love,
Madi

and so it begins

Summer that is. Well, really it started more than a month ago but it's better late than never. In all honesty I haven't exactly had the 'equipment' to do the blogging which makes me feel awful and like I'm continuously making excuses why I should not blog. So in a nutshell, my computer is broken and my best friend was as genourous as to kindly lend me her laptop to catch up on some sought after blogging. I've been almost craving writing lengthy posts with pictures capturing just mere seconds of my life. I've been up to a lot lately too. Spending time with friends, spontaneous cliff jumping, unexpected water balloon fights, journal filling, swimming (a LOT), sunrise/set gazing, picture taking (of course) and well, just having fun like any sixteen year old should on her summer holidays.

Delicious read by the way!

So my summer has been pretty laid back yet at the same time somewhat hectic. Im'm off to New York city with my best friend in just FOUR days (almost unbearable) and I haven't started packing yet, oops. How is your summer lovely?

Much love,
Madi
