A day spent with friends is a great day.

Yesterday I hung out with my friend and my boyfriend. I'm not going to lie, at first I thought it would be awkward because well, she's my best friend and I didn't want her to feel like a third wheel. Turns out we had a great day! We longboarded down to a fabulous castle, tried longboarding with all three of us on it (not the best idea), sat by the water, watched the fireplace channel and got a bit too excited each time we saw the hand, went and played at the playground and just hung out. Sometimes the simplest days can be the best days and create the best memories. The best advice I could ever give to people is to take every chance you get! Live each day like it's your last because you never truly know. This is going to be one of my last posts for 2011 which is sort of sad, but at the same time it's a new beginning.

A stroll downtown.

So, the other day I was donwtown witth my parents and I decided to do some Christmas shopping camera in hand and snapped away at the beautiful scenery around me. The sun was shining and the sky was clear, perfect! Enough words, here are the pictures!

Memories are what I live off of.

So, my friend came over yesterday. We stayed up late eating junk food, playing truth or dare, going on tumblr and just hanging out. Then it hit us like a ton of bricks that we were creating memories and that when we are older we would do anything to re-live these moments again. I will admit I don't think I will ever stop talking in a British accent or listening to music I listened to when I was younger. It helps bring back these memories and it makes me happy. No matter how cliche High School Musical or the Jonas Brothers are, I will never forget the memories they gave me. Yet at the same time, if you keep on reminiscing then you can never truly be living in the moment. So yesterday while we were crying about how fast we're growing up I said to her we should enjoy the moment because these will soon be memories. So we did, we took pictures laughed and had a great time.

Well arent we just the most attractive things you have ever seen? ;) But yeah I love the time we spend together and I always have a blast even though we get so mad we feel like ripping each others hair out. Either way I wouldn't trade her for a million dollars, weeeell... JUST KIDDING! What's your favourite memory with your best friend?
Much love, Madi :)

Oh Christmas Tree

Yesterday I hauled out the blue and silver ornaments, lights garland and most importantly the angel! I made the fake plastic branches look as realistic as possible and I had fun. My family use to make this a tradition but sadly this year I guess it was all up to me. This used to be my favourite part about Christmas but now it doesn't feel like it. Is it just me? Or am I the only one that feels the holidays are approaching MUCH too quickly. Anywho all I have to say is that I had more fun taking bokeh pictures of the tree than I decorating it. What is your favourite part about the holiday season?

Happy Holidays
much love

A cold December night

The time is officially here. The time to haul out the Christmas decorations, drink some hot cocoa by the fire (or the fireplace channel), cuddle up to that "special someone", and just be with family and friends. It also has many great photo opportunities that I look forward to every year. This year I want to spend as much time as possible with all my loved ones (friends and family). Although, it is hard being away from some of them at this time of year it also reminds me how grateful I am for them. I don't know what I would do without them. It's this time of year that people are most happy and help each other the most I find. I love the smiles on peoples faces when they are happy it makes me so cheerful and grateful! Tell me about your holiday traditions? Do you have any? :)

^This is why I don't like self done photo shoots!

I got this shirt today and I am IN LOVE

Much love,
Madi :)
