This has been one of the best years of my life, and I mean that genuinely. I had a wonderful summer spent with family and my friend Hope. I had the lucky opportunity to both California in January and Hawaii in April. I made a bunch of new friends at my new school when I moved in August. I got my beloved longboard in July. My photography skills (from what I think) have improved. I have visited many sport games, which I love. I could go into every little detail but that would take far too long! 2011 has been very good to me and I hope it has been the same to you. 2012 will be an amazing year and hopefully bring more joy and peace in the world. Hopefully I can gain more followers and blog more in the new year. Here are some of my New Years resolutions, what are yours?

So this is a post about my thoughts on how we treat the earth. I was listening to this song and it hit me, why not do something about it. Some of us treat it with care and respect, but you also get the occasional person who doesn't and although it is just one person it can make a huge impact. I have always been very interested in our planet and how it changes. I plan to be either an environmentalist or a biologist so I can study what we're doing to these creatures and our ecosystems. These are some pictures from the internet on how global warming affects the Earth. Please take into consideration how you can help.

So either way, if you do believe in global warming or think it's just a myth we still need to help. Please comment your ideas on how we can help to make the Earth a better place. Thanks for reading.

A day spent with friends is a great day.

Yesterday I hung out with my friend and my boyfriend. I'm not going to lie, at first I thought it would be awkward because well, she's my best friend and I didn't want her to feel like a third wheel. Turns out we had a great day! We longboarded down to a fabulous castle, tried longboarding with all three of us on it (not the best idea), sat by the water, watched the fireplace channel and got a bit too excited each time we saw the hand, went and played at the playground and just hung out. Sometimes the simplest days can be the best days and create the best memories. The best advice I could ever give to people is to take every chance you get! Live each day like it's your last because you never truly know. This is going to be one of my last posts for 2011 which is sort of sad, but at the same time it's a new beginning.

Photo credits above to Hope over at live your life :)

That ^ Is her, whatta goof! But she's my best frand until the end.

Just chillin' with a sprained ankle, no biggie.

Can you tell the difference?

How's your winter break treating ya? Good I hope!
Much love, Madi
