Natural lighting on a beautiful spring day

So the other day I woke up around 10am and the sun was shining and it was so nice and warm that I had to take pictures! Of course since I am on spring break and I was too lazy to change into something decent I stayed inside and took pictures of my makeup free eye and my dogs eye. It's much more exciting than I make it sound! Just take a gander :) In other news I saw the Hunger Games today and it is a spectacular movie and I highly suggest it! :)

Wordless Wednesday, but with words

I don't want to put too many words considering I had a post yesterday but I just wanted to post this because it represents the first day of spring to me. I though spring was a warm season but hopefully today will be different. If you're reading this I am probably in a park somewhere eating a picnic with my boyfriend :)

It's raining it's pouring and it should be spring

I woke early this morning aspiring to take hundreds of pictures of the bright sunny spring day only to find clouds and rain instead. Despite my bathroom door was locked from the inside (with no one in it) and the change in the weather I had a pretty good day! I got lots of macro pictures and had my first attempt at a slow shutter speed picture, which did not turn out so well. But you know what? I made some great memories these past two days with my best friend Hope over at Live Your Life and I will cherish them forever.

Summer

I miss those days. You know, the ones when you could walk around on the green grass barefoot, when you could wear shorts and not have to worry about wearing a jacket, or staying up late every night just gazing at the stars in an open field and just be free. I miss the hot sun beating on my shoulders, I miss go swimming every single day, I miss exploring and being spontaneous, I miss summer.

I miss staying up to see the sunrise. I miss eating watermelon all day and going to pick fresh fruit from the garden. I miss the beach and campfires. I miss going to my Grandparents farm and watching fireworks light up the sky. I miss going barefoot everywhere and the feel of the hot pavement on my soles.

Random acts of kindness

Do you believe in karma? I do. I feel like if you do something good for someone else out of the good of your heart then something good will happen to you. I strongly believe in helping others and randomly doing kind things for them, not jut for good karma but to become a better person. So maybe next time you see someone struggling to reach something off a higher shelf at the grocery store or maybe even donating your old clothes is a good start!
